Patna: The Existing Women’s ITI (Industrial Training Institute ) at Dighaghat Patna would be shifted to a world class building recently constructed.
Built with an ambitious budget of Rs 7 Crores, this building has an sprawling ambience with four storeys and a very attractive entrance.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar would inaugurate this building on Tuesday, June 4 at around 1030 hours.
Previously Women’s ITI was located in the same campus as the ITI Patna (both for men and women).
Women’s ITI runs courses in Mechanic (Radio & TV),Cutting & Tailoring and Stenography with a yearly intake of 73 at present.
On the other hand, the Primary ITI at Dighaghat, has over 30 different trades with an intake capacity of 809.
ITIs are managed under direct supervision of the Labour Resources Ministry of Bihar with academic consultation from BIT Mesra.
