Bihar First State to webcast live Proceedings of State Assembly

Patna: Bihar has become the first state in the country to webcast the live proceedings of State Legislative Assembly starting from the coming monsoon session from july 26. Anyone sitting across the world can view the proceedings of Assembly through Internet.

Now onwards, the members of legislative assembly in bihar will also have the facility to submit they are questions online. According to Uday Narayan Chaudhary, the chairman of Bihar State Legislative Assembly,  this step has been taken to increase the transparency in the proceedings of Assembly. This will also facilitate the people of bihar to see what their representatives are doing at assembly hours.
