Deoghar: Shravani Mela 2013 will be unique with regard to the new Argha system introduced for the first time. Argha System requires Registration of Wrist Band  (Suvidha Band) and getting a Pass (Suvidha Pass) with time of Worship mentioned on it. The wrist band would also have the name and photograph of Devotee and the Darshan Time, coded digitally on it. The Wrist bands can be purchased at various General Stores and Cyber Cafes of Deoghar apart from various Dharmsalas on the Kanwariya path starting from Dumma. These bands must be activated in order to gain entrance inside the main sanctum of temple and offer Holywater to Lord Shiva.  There are various activation Centers for getting this task done for free. Below we present the list of such activation centers in Deoghar.
Sanskrit School near Shivganga
Boys’ Middle School Jasidih
R Mitra High School Deoghar
Baghmara Bus Stop, near Deoghar College
Charki Pahari Bus Stop, near Kunda More
Sarasani, at Kanwariya Path
Additionally various cyber cafes  in the Deoghar town would also provide this facility.  The Time Slot would be allotted starting from 5 AM in morning till 9 AM at night.  One can also get a timeslot at night for next morning Darshan.
In case the band is lost or the devotee fails to appear within half hour of the prescribed time slot, he/she has to take a fresh Band and get it activated at a charge of Rs 5 only.
All devotees including Dak Kanwariyas and VIPs  have to assemble at the Special  Entrance Complex made at Nehru Park. From there they would be enqueued in special line for each category of devotee viz. General Devotee, VIPs, Sighra Darshan pass holders and Dak Kanwariyas.
For Dak Kanwariyas (Dak Bum), there would be a special provision of Golden Pass which will be provided to them at Sultanganj itself. They wont be provided any timeslot of Darshan, but their passes would be changed thrice en-route.
