SP Legislator threatens of Hindu Muslims Riots in RaiBareilly

Bareilly: A Curious case of threatening of Hindu Muslim Riots has come in Bareilly, where a local Legislator Md. Aslam has reportedly threatened the Principal of a Sahu Gopinath Inter College of deadly consequences if his demands were not met.

As per reports filed by the Principal Ms. Mira Pradarshani, Aslam came for the Admission of a Girl to Class IX, but the Admission was refused because of the unavailability of Seats in Class.

The Legislator got angry on refusal and threatened of several consequences to the Principal and teachers of the College. He also reportedly said that he would trigger Riots in the locality if his demands were not met.

The Principal has reported the case to the nearest Police Station, but a FIR has not been lodged.

Aslam belongs to Samajwadi Party and is a Member of Legislative Council in Uttar Pradesh.

Sources say that Aslam has been accused of keeping Illegal Arms at his House last year  and a FIR was lodged against him.  However no further action was taken and the Police against Aslam, but an enquiry was put up against Police Sub Inspector who had recovered Arms from him.
