Neeranjan Bhaskar, a man from Arah district of Bihar, Â has created the World Record by eating the raw meat of over 10000 Snakes. He is a 35 year old Painter by profession.
Neeranjan catches snakes himself every morning  on the banks of Ghaghara river and his food is a plateful of snakes. He says that he likes the blood of Reptiles.
The snake’s blood tastes like raw milk. I like the whole idea of going near a snake, grabbing it and consuming its flesh. My meal is not complete without a snake,” he says.

He has been eating Snake Flesh ever since he was 7 years old, while his parents could know about it only when he was 14. Â Recalling his experience of first snake meal he says, Â “It was the rainy season of 1977. A Dhorba snake attacked me while I was on my way to school. I tried hard to get rid of it, but the snake did not leave me. When I could not find a way to escape, I bit the snake in a fit of anger and pain. I continued biting it and finally gobbled it fully”.
Despite his parent’s advice and warning, he ate a snake a day ever since the age of 7.  He has eaten more than 10000 snakes so far and wants a name in the Guinness Book of World Records.
“At present, the world record for living with deadly snakes is for 32 days. If given a chance, I’m sure that I can stay with the reptiles for 40 days at a stretch.”
He is married and has four daughters, who are also trained to handle snakes, however they don’t diet upon Snakes.
Rajendra Mahto, a neighbour of Bhaskar says, Â “He has been my neighbour for about three years and this is the third time I have seen him eating snake. First time, I found him eating a cobra. He eats snakes, starting by their tails”.
