The Ordeal took place last week on August 23. Reports say that  Tinu arrived on a two wheeler with some aides and tried to forcefully dump some filming equipment in Manohar’s godown. When he retaliated, Tinu took out a sword and attacked him, leaving him seriously wounded. At that time, Manohar’s wife was also present at the spot and the entire incident has been recorded in a CCTV camera.

Manohar Verma had to be taken to the ICU of Kokilaben Hospital where he is presently admitted. A Case of Attempt to Murder was filed against Tinu who  had been absconding since then and a lookout notice was issued against him. Tinu Verma was arrested by Police today.

The Family of Manohar Verma also blames Tinu’s sibling Narendra Verma for misusing his Political contacts against them. “Narendra is misusing his political contacts to help Tinu. No police station was willing to take down my complain when he attacked me. I had to write to the CM about the danger my family is living in and that’s when a complaint was registered against him”, says Manohar Verma who is also known as Mahendra Verma.

Tinu Verma had performed stunts for several big films including ‘Shootout at Wadala’ and the upcoming ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’.
