Patna: Taking a major leap in E-Governance, Patna Municipal Corporation shall offer 18 crucial Services to Residents of the City through its website. The Concept of E-Municipality shall be implemented for the first time in the state offering Single Window access to all services.
The Following Services shall be offered online
- Birth and Death Registration
- Property Tax Estimation
- Application for Water Supply
- Application for Sewerage
- Approval of Building Plans
- Complaint Regarding Cleanliness on Roads
- Water Logging Complaint
- Holding Taxes
- Trade Licences
- Online Payment of Taxes
Citizens can also lodge and track the status of complaint through the Grievance Redressal Website of Patna Nagar Nigam.
Some of the above services are live while most of them are expected to be ready by October this year. PMC has been allotted a budget of ₹13.69 Crores for this purpose.
A Separate Data Center is being built and Data Entry Operators as well as Supervisors are being hired to accomplish this.
In the Phase 2 of E-Municipality Project, all the Municipal Units of Bihar, including 42 Zila PArishads and 88 Nagar Panchayats shall offer this services online. A seperate budget of ₹48.49 Crores has been earmarked for this purpose.
