Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo is a 2004 Movie based on the life of officers of Defense Forces. Though it is a peacetime film, it has several scenes in flashback from 1971 India Pakistan War. It is the only Movie which features the role of Indian Navy in Wars.

It is one of the longest movie of Indian Cinema and has largest number of Film Stars. It tells the story of various battles in the Kargil War and capturing of crucial points.
Border
Border is a 1997 Film by J P Dutta based on the battle of Longewala fought during Indo Pak War of 1971. It is about how a band of 120 soldiers of the Punjab regiment of the Indian Army headed by Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri successfully defended their post all night against a whole Tank regiment of the Pakistani Army, until assistance came from the Indian Air Force the next morning.
Vijeta
Vijeta is a 1982 Hindi film based on the experiences of an Indian Air Force Pilot in 1971 Indo-Pak War. It was produced by Shashi Kapoor and directed by Govind Nihalani. It stars Shashi Kapoor, Rekha, Kunal Kapoor, Amrish Puri and Supriya Pathak.
Aakraman
Aakraman is a film released in 1975 based on Indo-Pak War of 1971. film portrays the love angle between two army officers (Sanjeev Kumar and Rakesh Roshan) who fall in love with the same woman (Rekha) but when the indo-pak war breaks out, all hell breaks loose and the junior officer vows to take revenge with the other officer who has stolen his sweetheart by proposing her for marriage.

Lalkaar is a 1972 Film based on World War 2 and the operation of Indian Forces in Burma. It is the story of two battle hardened brothers, one in the Royal Indian Air Force (RIAF) and the other in the Royal Indian Army get ready to face and fight the stubborn Japanese invaders in Burma during World War II while falling in love with the same girl (Mala Sinha).
Haqeeqat
Haqeeqat is a 1964 Film based on the India China War of 1962. It is the story of a small platoon of Indian soldiers in the hilly terrain of Ladakh who are considered dead but are rescued by Ladakhi tribesmen and by Capt. Bahadur Singh. They are asked to retreat from their post (chowky) as the Chinese have surrounded them. Capt. Bahadur Singh and his girlfriend Angmo die holding the Chinese at bay so that their comrades can retreat to safety. But even the retreating soldiers are heavily outnumbered and give up their lives for the country.
Hum Dono
Hum Dono is a 1961 Film starring Dev Anand set against the backdrop of World War 2. Though the film deals mostly about the life of Families of the Slain Indian Soldier in War, it was one of the major commercial hit that time and is credited to be the First War Film of Indian Cinema.
