A Pakistani stage-actress  named Arzoo Khan was shot dead by unknown gunmen while she was returning back to her home after a late night performance near her house in Gunj Shakar Colony of Multan.

Arzoo Khan was travelling in her vehicle when the attackers opened fire near Rehmanpura area of Multan city, killing the actress on the spot. Her body was taken to a nearby hospital for autopsy.
The deceased’s neighbour, Muhammad Yasir, said he came out of his house after hearing the gun shots and found that Arzoo had been killed.
Arzoo’s driver, Tanveer, said they were returning home from Starlit Cinema when two motorcyclists chased their car from Masoom Shah Road to Gulistan Chowk.
As they reached the house, the motorcyclists held Tanveer at gunpoint point and killed Arzoo.
The body has been handed over to the heirs after autopsy from Nishtar Hospital and a case has been registered.
Arzoo’s driver and the owner of the house where she was living for the previous one and a half years are being interrogated.
