IRCTC ropes in Actor Tom Alter for Signature Journey of Maharajas Express

Indian Actor Tom Alter, who is known for notable roles in Films and Theatres, has been roped in by IRCTC to be part of the Signature Journey of Maharajas Express, World’s most Luxurious Train.

Alter will be boarding the Train on November 9 at Delhi on the The Indian Splendour itinerary and shall remain onboard till Udaipur.  This would provide an opportunity to the guests of Maharajas Express to get informed more about Incredible India from Mr. Alter says the Maharajas Express team.

The Maharajas Express has also stated that this Signature Journey comes with no extra cost to the guests. The thespian and television actor, who is a native of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand & is the son of American Christian missionaries, and has worked in numerous Bollywood Movies, TV Serials and Theatre Plays. He is noted for his role of Mahaguru in famous TV Series Shaktimaan. He also played the role of Watson in Aamir Khan starrer movie The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey. Alter was honored with Padma Shri by Indian Government in 2008.

During its 5 journeys, the train take guests to various parts of India including Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Varanasi and Lucknow among others.

The train has a total capacity of 88 passengers & the fare ranges from USD 3850 to USD 23,700.
