Akshara Hassan (aged 22), the younger daughter of Kamal Haasan, is all set to make her Film Debut opposite Dhanush in R Balakrishnan’s next Hindi movie. Amitabh Bachchan is also playing a prominent role in the yet unnamed movie, which is set to get on floor by mid 2014. The Release date is expected to be around 2014 end or the beginning of 2015. The Music for the movie would be composed by veteran composer Ilaiyaraaja.

“Yes guys, my next Hindi film is with Balki sir. (I’m) very excited and eagerly looking forward to it. (I’m) privileged to share screen space with Big B himself and ecstatic to be part of Raja sir’s musical again,” Dhanush confirmed about the project via Twitter.
According to Wikipedia, Akshara Hassan was born in 1991. Her mother Sarika Thakur was an actress too who married Kamal Haasan in 1988, but divorced in 2004. Akshara is a great dancer and also aspires to be a choreographer. She has also been rumored to have looks similar to Aishwarya Rai.
She initially endeavored in Film Direction and has been working with Rahul Dholakia. She has been Assistant director for Vishwaroopam, Parzania and Society.
However, R Balakrishnan (Balki) spotted the talent and offered her coveted role of female lead in his upcoming film opposite superstar Dhanush and Megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Her Father Kamal Haasan also started as a Filmmaker, but eventually moved to acting, while her elder Sister Shruti Haasan is a well established actress of Tamil and Hindi Cinema. While Akshara has got equally beautiful looks, her height is little less compared to elder sister Shruti Haasan.
The Latest Buzz about her suggests that she has been dating Tanuj Virwani, son of veteran Indian actress Rati Agnihotri. Earlier, she was also linked to Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah. The duo were spotted together at several birthday parties and other events in Mumbai.
