New Delhi: The office of the Delhi chief minister will be under the purview of the Jan Lokpal bill, the draft of which is almost finalised and set to be taken up by the cabinet next week.
“The chief minister’s office will be under the Jan Lokpal bill,” Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal told reporters Thursday after a meeting of the bill drafting committee and senior government officials.
“The bill will be put for approval in the cabinet meeting scheduled for early next week,” an official said.
The bill is almost ready and all work related to it would be completed in a couple of days, he said.
