Lahore: Pakistani Journalist Mehr Tarar, who had entered into a tweet war with Sunanda Pushkar Tharoor has expressed shock and grief over death of Mrs. Tharoor. She also prayed for peace of the Departed Soul.
In a tweet Mehr says, “I just woke up and read this. I’m absolutely shocked. This is too awful for words. So tragic I don’t know what to say. Rest in peace,Sunanda”.

Sunanda and Mehr had entered into a verbal spat on Twitter in last couple of days with allegations originating from both sides. While Sunanda alleged Mehr of stalking Shashi Tharoor and called her ISI Agent, Mehr said that Sunanda was out of her mind.
In order to diffuse the tensions, Sunanda and Shashi Tharoor had issued a joint statement yesterday, where they requested all to respect their family’s privacy.

The matter was normalizing slowly, but the death of Mrs. Tharoor has shocked people across Borders, who were closely following the controversy.
