Postmortem of Sunanda Pushkar hints at Sudden, Unnatural Death

New Delhi: The Post-Mortem Report of Sunanda Pushkar hints at an unnatural-sudden Death according to the Doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), who performed the examination. The Doctors also found superficial marks on her body, however they have not yet linked those injuries to her death.

The Post-Mortem was performed by a three-member team of senior doctors at AIIMS. The entire Post Mortem Examination was videotaped to ensure transparency in the procedure.

The Doctors who conducted the Post-Mortem refused to divulge the details except for calling it a case of unnatural and sudden death. The Post-Mortem report would be finalized within 1-2 days.

The Dead body was shifted for Post-Mortem at around 3:30 AM and the examination was over at around 3PM.

Meanwhile, her Husband, Shashi Tharoor was admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Cardiology Deptt of AIIMS at around 3 AM following complaints of severe Chest Pain. His condition is stable as per reports. After several diagnosis including ECG he was discharged from the Hospital at around 12 noon. The Funeral of Sunanda Pushkar is likely to take place today.

A Series of Medical Diagnosis performed by Doctors at Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), earlier this week, shows that Sunanda was not suffering from any major ailments. She was discharged from KIMS 3 days before her death and hoped to return back for further diagnosis after one week.
