Congress president Sonia Gandhi will lay the foundation stone of Aligarh Muslim University’s centre in Bihar’s Kishanganj on January 30, the AMU said on Friday.
AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt.Gen. (retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah convened a consultative meeting of varsity officials, including Pro Vice Chancellor, Brig. (retd.) S. Ahmad Ali, and Registrar, Group. Capt. (retd) Shahrukh Shamshad, to finalize the programme.
On November 27, the Aligarh Muslim University Centre at Kishanganj, Bihar became functional with admission of 58 students to the B. Ed. course. An induction programme was also held for these students in the presence of visiting officers from AMU.
