Los Angeles: Singer Miley Cyrus’s mother Tish surprised her with a new puppy following the death of her dog Floyd.
The “Wrecking Ball†singer, who was left devastated following the death of her beloved Alaskan Klee Kai Floyd, Tuesday, was thrilled to wake up to a new furry friend gifted to her by her mom, reports contactmusic.com.
The 21-year-old star posted a picture of the puppy named Moonie on Twitter.
“My mama knew my heart was broken and this morning I woke up to Moonie kisses (sic),” she posted.
But Miley is still in mourning.
“No one could ever replace my baby Floyd but this precious angel is lending me some fur to cry on along with my other babies (sic),” she added.
The “Adore You†singer is a well-known animal lover and has a number of other rescue dogs.
