Union Health Minister, Harsh Vardhan while on a visit to Bihar was today
at the Patna AIIMS which is under construction. He told media that most likely by 25th December this year the hospital would be inaugurated. This would coincides with the birthday of party veteran and former PM, Atal Behari Vajpayee.
Dr Harsh Vardhan told media that over the last few years the construction of AIIMS Patna has moved slowly. He said considering the current speed he was hopeful that on the birthday of Atal Behari Vajpayee the hospital will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Vardhan said Modi government was committed to eradicate malnourishment and poverty. He said this in turn will help end diseases like Encephalitis.
