The much anticipated World Championship rematch between Indian veteran Viswanathan Anand and the title holder Magnus Carlsen will be played from 7th November to 28th November in Sochi, Russia.
ANAND-CARLSEN WCC REMATCH TO BE HELD IN SOCHI
The schedule of the WCC rematch was announced during a press conference by the FIDE President, Kirsan IIyumzhinov. The budget for the event has been set at $3million.The match will be played at the Olympic Village in Sochi.

Carlsen became the World Champion last November by defeating Indian veteran in his hometown, Chennai. However, Anand, who held the world title from 2007-2013, earned the rematch by winning the Candidates Tournament in Khanty-Mansiysk.Â
