Chief Minister Anandiben Patel visited the famous Jagannath temple of Ahmedbad today ahead of 137th Rath Yatra and observed the preparation for the Yatra. BJP General Secretary Amit Shah, who is in all probability going to be BJP’s new president, also attended the Jagannath aarti in a 400-year-old temple in Jamalpur area of Ahmedabad this morning.

Shah sat with other devotees and sung praise to the lord. Whereas Patel offered prayers to lord Jagannath and sought blessings of mahant Shri Dilipdasji. The devotees and saints of the temple heartily welcomed the Chief Minister.
