Indian challenge in the Asian squash team championship ended after both the men’s and the women’s team lost to Malaysia in their respective semi-finals.
Defending champion women’s team comprising Dipika Pallikal went down 5-11, 5-11, 8-11 against world number one Malaysian player.
On the other hand, in men’s category the players put up a slightly better fight but could not notch up wins with Sourav Ghosal losing 10-12, 12-10. 8-011, 8-11 to Ong Beng Hee.
After a disappointing loss, Ghosal tweeted,
