Keen to regain the lost ground after the drubbing in LokSabha polls, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadavmet UP Ministers today and asked them to ensure party’s victory in by-polls to 12 Assembly seats. UP Minister Azam Khan, who attended the meeting said the party leaders will work together to ensure party’s win in forthcoming polls.

SP, which won a comfortable majority in the 2012 assembly elections with 220 odd MLAs in the 403-member house, shrank to only five seats in LokSabha polls in Uttar Pradesh this year. Azam Khan said, the party will analyse the reasons behind its defeat and will ensure that it wins the next time to take the reins of power in its hands.
