BMC still hopeful of persuading Campa Cola Complex Residents

Deputy BMC Commissioner, Anand Waghralkar maintained that they will stick to their earlier stance that no force is to be applied on the inhabitants of Campa Cola complex. He added that he and his men were trying to convince those living here to cooperate.

Anand Waghralkar and his men from the BMC have tried their best to evict the 102 flat owners of Campa Cola complex and ensure that the illegal building is demolished. They have tried cutting off water, gas and electricity lines but till now the people living there have put up a tough fight. Various political parties in Maharashtra have stood by the inhabitants.  The Deputy BMC Commissioner today spoke to reporters outside the illegal building.
