“Days after the Vice-Chancellor Dinesh Singh agreed to follow the University Grants Commission’s order to scrap the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme, the University has once again grabbed the headline for discontinuing the two coveted courses of B.Tech and Bachelor of Management Studies(BMS). As the future of more than 2500 students lie in limbo, students gathered outside HRD Minister Smriti Irani’s residence in the national capital to express their dissent, demanding retention of B.Tech and BMS in DU.

After protesting outside the MHRD office on Saturday, students shifted their protest outside Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani’s residence in South Delhi. Though it seems that their efforts were not heard by the Minister as she is presently not in Delhi.Â
