It seems that Narendra Modi led NDA government is following the footsteps of the UPA government which, after coming to power in 2004, got rid of BJP appointed Governors. After UP Governor BL Joshi stepped down from his post, all eyes are on the other six Governors including Sheila Dikshit.
Meanwhile, when Kerala Governor Sheila Dikshit was asked to share her opinion over NDA government’s decision to remove all Congress appointed Governors, the former Delhi CM refused to comment.
Dikshit’s reaction came soon after Uttar Pradesh Governor BL Joshi tendered his resignation who sent all the papers to Union Home Ministry.
The buzz is that West Bengal Governor MK Narayanan is also likely to resign within 24 hours.
