The hike in rail fare has brought the nascent government at the centre under scanner. Meanwhile, Congress workers led by party chief of Delhi wing Arvinder Singh Lovely today staged protest in New Delhi against the hike in rail fare.
Shouting slogans against PM Narendra Modi, Congress demanded immediate rollback saying that the government’s decision will lead to rise in prices of essential commodities like coal and power. The protesters also burnt the effigy of Narendra Modi.
Lovely lashed out at Modi and the BJP saying that when Congress led UPA government used to hike rail fare, BJP used to protest against it.
