Despite Bad Weather Amarnath Yatra Continues

In spite of snow covered tracks and bad weather, the Amarnath Yatra continues with full passion as 7000 pilgrims reached the north Kashmir Baltal base camp today morning. As always, the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) has made all the arrangements for this year’s pilgrimage to the holy cave.

DESPITE BAD WEATHER AMARNATH YATRA CONTINUES

The first batch of Amarnath pilgrims left for the south Kashmir Himalayas on Friday from Baltal base camp in Sonamarg. Almost 7000 pilgrims reached the north Kashmir Baltal base today morning. The yatra is in full fervour despite bad weather. Yatra is not taking place through the traditional route of Pahalgam as it is covered by heavy snow.
