Television actress Drashti Dhami who was roped in to host the new season of the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja’ has been shown the door by the channel and show producers.

The actress who won the last season of ‘Jhalak’ was roped in to add the glamour quotient to the show. However, Drashti’s poor hosting skills received a lot of negative feedback and hence the channel decided to replace her.

We hear that the channel executives called up Drashti to inform her about their decision to axe her from the show. Drashti took to Twitter to inform her fans about this development. Her tweet read, “Tweepies – my journey at Jhalak comes to an end. Thank u all for ur love & support.â€

The actress has been replaced by host Manish Paul who had been hosting the show for the last two seasons.
