The dates for the budget session of Parliament have been announced. The NDA government will present its General budget for the nation on July 10 whereas the Rail Budget will be announced on July 8. The Narendra Modi government’s first Budget Session will commence on July 7 and will proceed till August 14.
The government will also present annual economic analysis on July 9. Dates for the Budget Session were finalised in a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.

Expectations run high on the BJP-led NDA government and the month-long Budget Session will be closely watched by the general populace and the Opposition as well.
