Mendhar area in the Poonch sector along the Line of Control witnessed heavy exchange of firing between Indo-Pak troops earlier today. Small arms, grenades and rocket propelling grenades were being used by both the sides.

The attack took place just after two IED explosions took place in the BhimberGali sector on Thursday. One Army man was killed and 3 others including a Major were injured in the IED blasts.
