Ruling out any specific threat with regard to the Amarnath yatra, J&K DGP, K Rajindra Kumar has said elaborate security arrangements have been put in place at the ground level to deal with any challenges in connection with the yatra. However, keeping in mind possible security risks, the police have sounded high alert in the region around lord Shiva’s cave shrine.
