Indian Women Hockey team secured a 6-0 whitewash over Malaysia after winning the last match of the series by a margin of 5-2. Indian eves outclassing the hosts, defeated them 5-2 in the last match of the Malaysian Tour 2014.
The first goal came as early as in the 3rd minute of the match from the stick of Poonam Rani. The second for India was achieved in 14th minute where a penalty corner was converted into a goal.
Malaysia in a bid to reduce the goal difference scored their first goal through field goal in the 21st minute. By 35th minute India pocketed three more goals to increase the misery for Malaysia. In the second half, Malaysia scored their second goal in the 55th minute.
With the blow of the final whistle, team India was announced the well-deserved winners of the Malaysian tour.
