Talking about the accident RJD Chief and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in an exclusive chat with NNIS expressed his shock over the accident and said that the heart rendering incident could have been avoided.
With his old association with railways, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said that he looks up to the Indian Railways with hope.

Calling it a gross negligence of Indian Railways, Yadav lambasted the Central government. Yadav further added that there is a need for special attention towards it.
