Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah today met the Union Defence Minister, Arun Jaitley to discuss the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Omar said it was good that Jaitley came on a visit wearing two hats.
Defence Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday began a security review meeting with Omar Abdullah and chief of army staff, General Bikram Singh. Omar today appreciated Jaitley for choosing to visit the regions of the state. He added in the same breath that there were some areas where as a Finance Minister Jaitley would have a role to play.
The visit reportedly comes days after the ceasefire violations were reported along the Line of Control (LOC) from the Pakistan side.
