Congress President in Delhi, Arvinder Singh Lovely today hit out at Home Minister Rajnath Singh after Congress workers who were protesting against water shortage in Delhi, were not allowed to enter the premises of Delhi Jal Board office. Lovely said the BJP-led NDA government at Centre is trying to kill democracy.
The Congress leader took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he is trying to implement the ‘Gujarat model’ in the whole country and in doing so he along with his ministers is killing democracy. Lovely alleged that the Congress protesters were not allowed to get inside Delhi Jal Board office on the directions of Rajnath Singh.
Lovely said Congress is a responsible party and is trying to raise the issues being
faced by the people of Delhi. He added, the BJP is however trying to stop the Congress from doing its task. The Congress leader said his party will not be deterred by this and will continue to fight against power and water shortage in Delhi.
