Narendra Modi inaugurates Supreme Court of Bhutan

Thimphu, June 15 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated Supreme Court of Bhutan. Embarking on his first foreign visit since taking over, Prime Minister Modi arrived in Bhutan today. A grand welcome was accorded to him by the Bhutanese government which rolled out a red carpet and gave a ceremonial guard of honour to him. Later Modi met Bhutan Prime Minster, Lyonchen Tshering Tobgay and King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck in a bid to reassert Indian influence in the subcontinent offering financial and technical help to the small Himalayan kingdom.
