Nitin Gadkari who has been given the additional charge of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj after the demise of Gopinath Munde today announced measures to curb the problems pertaining to the rural areas of the country.

Speaking to reporters at Transport Bhavan in New Delhi, Gadkari talked about the development of the handloom industries in village in order to fight unemployment
The Minister also expressed his plans about providing employment to men and women in rural areas. They will be given plant samplings by the Gram Panchayat to sell and earn their living
