China, June 21 (ANI): Downpours swept southwest China’s Guizhou state and central China’s Hunan, stranding residents and disrupting traffic. Heavy rain battered Kaibao Village of Niulang Township in Guizhou and the floodwater stranded villagers in their house. Flood damaged the only road of the village, making it inaccessible to fire trucks. Heavy rains triggered landslides in central China’s Hunan, forcing several local expressway sections to close. Landslides took place in Hunan’s Mayang County, disrupting traffic on three highway sections.
