Police bust Maoist hideout in ‘red corridor’, kills one

Gadchiroli, June 15 (ANI): Acting on a tip off, the police in the ‘red corridor’ of Maharashtra busted a Maoist hideout in the jungles of Gadchiroli district, where after a fierce gunbattle between both sides one rebel was killed and number of explosives were recovered. The Superintendent of Police (Paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force-CRPF), Gadchiroli, M Raj Kumar said that one dead body of a suspected Maoist was recovered after they barged in while the others escaped. The identity of the recovered body has not been ascertained.
