Where protests are going on against the Four Year University Programme (FYUP) in the Delhi University, there is a group which is in favour of the course. Apart from some students, the DU professors and other staff have also stood up in favour of FYUP saying that scrapping it will be a violation of DU’s autonomy. They have also alleged that the UGC and some students and teachers unions are just playing politics over a non-issue.
