New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): When the nation is debating the issue of women’s sa’ety, Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil’s insensitive remark that even if the government provides one policeman for every house, crime against women can’t be stopped sparked a new controversy. Patil made the statement in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, while replying to the opposition’s charge that women are feeling unsafe in the current regime. He also said that the rise in rape cases are a result of downslide of moral values. Reacting over this, BJP slammed Patil for this bizarre comment.
