Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari today addressed a “maha rally” organised by e-rickshaw associations to protest against the “Delhi government’s action against these battery-operated vehicles”. The clampdown on e-rickshaws, after they were rendered illegal by a notification issued by the Ministry of Transport on April 24, has triggered a spot for politicking.
