Union Water Resource Minister, Uma Bharti speaking to reporters in the national capital said that she was tense over the law and order situation in UP and she met the Home Minister over the matter.
Uma Bharti met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday to express concern over the deteriorating situation of law and order in Uttar Pradesh. She said more than the deteriorating law and order of the state the greater concern was the approach of the SP government.
She said one needed to look into the comments coming from the ruling party. She said while a Dalit has been set on fire no FIRs are being lodged.
She said if the state government was like the way they were how could the police act.
