“In a bid to attract investment in infrastructure and industrial sectors in Uttar Pradesh, the state government would organise an Investors Conclave in New Delhi on Thursday. Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan said today Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav would attend the conclave himself, which would be attended by the ambassadors of seven countries.

UP CHIEF SECY ANNOUNCES SPECIAL INCENTIVES
Ranjan said that during conclave a presentation would be made on “why UP”, why investors should invest in the state.
Infrastructure, investors and law and order are on top priority of newly appointed UP chief secretary Alok Ranjan. He said that the government is gearing up to take off development projects in UP. Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad will also be on priority. Ranjan said most of the projects would be visible on ground in a couple of months.

Infrastructure projects especially metro extension, Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, better water and electricity projects are likely to be fast tracked.

He said very special incentives would be provided to those wishing to set up businesses in the state.

Ranjan said Noida and Ghaziabad are window cities of UP so he has taken the twin cities infrastructure projects especially metro extension, DMIC, better water and electricity projects on priority.
