Bollywood actress Vidya Balan had recently announced her plans to don Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s disguise during her visit to Vadodara for the promotion of her film ‘Bobby Jasoos’.

However, Modi supporters took this promotion exercise in a wrong manner and protested against this move forcing the actress to drop her plans.

While addressing the media in Vadodara, Vidya clarified to whole issue saying that Modi was an inspiration for everyone because he had proved that common man could achieve anything if he worked towards it diligently.

She added that she had planned this PR exercise as a tribute to Modi and was sad that people had taken it the wrong way.

Balan is currently touring cities all over India for the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Bobby Jasoos’ where she essays the role of a detective. The film will hit the theatres on 4th July.
