JD(S) Chief HD Deve Gowda has questioned the government’s decision to announce the rail fare hike prior to the budget session which will be held on 7th July.

Gowda feels that the government should have waited until the budget session to make the announcement.

Gowda said that the number of Railway accidents have gone up and the Railways require the additional funds for the maintenance of railway tracks and bogies of trains.
