In a shocking incident in Gudalur town of Nilgiris district in Tamil Nadu, a youth murdered three people from the same family over a love affair. The accused has been arrested by Tamil Nadu police from Kerala.

Twenty two-year-old Joshna once studied with Lenin in Kerala. Lenin professed his love for her and later approached her parents seeking permission to marry Joshna. However, the girl’s parents were not pleased by the proposal and fixed Joshna’s marriage with someone else.

Miffed by the development, Lenin entered Joshna’s house in Gudalur from the back door and attacked her with an iron rod. Her parents and Grandmother came to rescue her but Lenin overpowered them. Joshna’s mother and grandmother died on the spot. Her father succumbed to injuries en-route to hospital while the girl is struggling for life in a local hospital.
