BCCI is all set to earn a whopping Rs 4000 crores over the next 8 years cycle (2015-2023) as against the Rs 300 crores that it accrued during the last eight years. This information was disclosed by Sanjay Patel.
BCCI ALL SET FOR 13 TIMES RISE IN REVENUE
The rise in revenue comes after the Indian board, along with its England and Australian counterparts joined together in making structural changes to the manner in which money was distributed to the member nations. As per the new regulations, India , which claimed to bring in the most revenue to International Cricket Council (ICC) has been rewarded with a bigger share of the revenue
The new structural changes were approved the apex body during the recently concluded ICC Annual conference in Melbourne. As per the new formula, India stands to earn 22% of ICC’s gross revenue and a further 4% of its profits.

The BCCI secretary also stated that Tests and ODIs will be segregated in future. Which  means India will not be featuring in long tours in future.Patel also informed that West Indies will be touring India later this year for a series of 3 Tests and 5 ODIs between October 4 and November 18.
