Indian Railway targets to become largest Freight Carrier in the World

In his maiden railway budget presented in Parliament today, Union Railway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that India targets to become largest Freight Carrier in the World. The Railways also prepares itself to carry one billion tonnes of freight every year. The Minister also said that the dedicated freight corridor projects would be closely monitored
