His father Anilchandra Shah is a businessman from Mansa,who owned a successful PVC pipe business.
Amit Shah did his schooling in Mehsana, Gujarat and graduation with B.Sc. biochemistry from CU Shah Science College.
His mother died from an illness on 8 June 2010.
His Wife’s Name is Sonal Shah. The Couple have a son named Jay Shah.
Amitbhai is a frugal man. For the past several years he has bathed only with warm water. He does not use any soap.
