New Delhi, July 2 (ANI): Politicians on Wednesday backed the remark of Chief Justice of India RM Lodha over the removal of former Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium’s name for the post of a Supreme Court judge, by the Modi government. Lodha on Tuesday had expressed his displeasure over the former SG’s name being dropped from being considered for the post of a Supreme Court judge. He also accused the government of dealing casually in the appointment of a high constitutional position. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy admitted that the appointment was procedurally wrong.
